Ole Dawgs 1 and 2 in '98.
Jim Williams on the right is the guy that got me started in the tire cutting thing back in '96. He was friends with the guy I was helping at the time and was at the Nationals in Charlotte when we tried out the first set of tires I ever cut. He was very impressed but didn't say much until the following March when he called and asked if I would cut tires if he found a machine. I offered to cut tires for him and the fellow I was helping at the time but he suggested I do it for anyone who was interested. I had no idea it would take off and become what it has today but Jim had the foresight to see the potential and offered me the encouragement to give it go. He stops by the shop every now and then and we look around at the piles of tires and just shake our heads and chuckle over the whole thing. Everyone needs a friend like Jim.
